Indecisive

Okay - So the clear winner from last week's poll was Minivans Are Hot. I am ready to pull the trigger on this website thing, but I'm not 100% sold on the name just yet. I like it, but I want to be sure before I committ to it. So, my dear readers, if you would indulge me just one more time and vote for your favorite from the following list I would appreciate it so very much!

I promise this will be the last poll. I will choose a winner between Minivans are Hot and the highest vote getter on today's poll and I will let you know when the process of building the new site is underway. I appreciate your help on this so much!

I love "minivans are hot". Cracks me up!

I guess what you name it depends on what you are trying to market yourself as and what your blog is about.

The "Minivans are hot" title sounds like the blog would be a lighthearted, humorous look at family life. But could also be very tongue-in-cheek.

The "This Mom's Blog" and "My Happy Brood" sound like they are blogs you write to keep friends and family updated. More personal, intimate.

That's just my opinion. But all in all, great names.

Lisa - thank you thank you thankyou for that insight. I've gone back and forth on the Minivans are Hot thing because I keep trying to think about introducing it to someone - will it sound completely stupid or will it work. My idea is that it be more fun and lighthearted. That's what I'm going for. You just gave me a little more confidence. Thanks!

I was one of the voters for "minivans are hot", however, I now have to rethink my vote as the new names you have thrown out are also just as good. I will think about for a day and then revote!

Kelli-
I am a "Minivans are Hot" voter. My second choice is "Trucks and Tiaras." I think you have a great sarcastic sense of humor and "Minivans" captures it well. It is a tiny bit edgy too and I like that.

Just thinking-- when you create a name, be careful that when you read it all in a string together, your name doesn't make words you didn't intend.

For instance:
"a legacy in verse" looked to me like "a legacy inverse" and I spent a good few minutes trying to figure out the significance of inverted legacies.

The same applies for "trucks and tiaras" which could look like "truck sand tiaras" which makes less sense (although is apropos to your life right now!) :)

Is "minivan moms are hot" too long?? or too.....sexy?? :)

Hope y'all feel better soon!!

Bethany - you crack me up. It would take an English teacher to pick up on those things. I appreciate your eye for things.
